Mussenden Temple
A short drive will take you to this 18th century Landmark. Frederick Hervey, Bishop of Derry at that time built his mansion and the temple, and the area is well worth a visit. Unlike the ruins of the mansion that lie there to this day, the Temple remains well intact and is one of the north coasts most famous land marks. Perched upon a cliff edge it has unrivalled views of the Atlantic coastline and Donegal. A very enjoyable coastal walk lies in store, it is the perfect location for a picnic or if you want to pick up local heritage, Mussenden Temple is a great attraction.
