The Causeway Coast
There is no shortage of things to do on the North Coast of Ireland, the most obvious being taking advantage of the fantastic tourist attractions that are in such close proximity to The New York Inn Portstewart. From the world famous Giants Causeway, to Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge to Bushmills Distillery, you will find plenty to fill your trip!
If that isn’t really your scene, the amazing coastline provides plenty of alternatives. From walks along the Blue Flag beaches, to surfing the waves, or simply enjoy an ice-cream on the Portstewart Promenade and take in the view!
We can also arrange bike hire per day, its a great way to take in the beautiful scenery and also to keep fit! There are many cycling routes around the causeway coast.
The River Bann offers visitors a range of activities. Take your pick from evening summer boat tours, fishing, and plenty of water sports, canoeing, water skiing, Banana Boating, to name but a few.
For the active traveller, there are scenic cycle paths, and of course the array of golf courses the North Coast of Ireland is so well known for, with a course for beginners, and long-term players (and for those who just want a laugh, the Miniature Golf Course in Portrush is always a good bet!)
And if you are just looking for a relaxed break away, Coleraine is only ten minutes from The New York Inn – perfect to grab a bite of lunch, do a spot of shopping and find something great to wear before heading out to enjoy some of the local clubs and bars.
See what the North West of Northern Ireland can offer you.
